Hinaki Light Shade by Formation Lights

The Hinaki lightshade  by Formation Lights is inspired by traditional New Zealand weaving patterns. The Maori used these intricate patterns when making their fishing nets “Hinaki”, commonly used for eel fishing.

This shade encapsulates heritage and innovation. Pairing the translucence of acrylic with bamboo’s warmth, this shade harmonizes contrasting materials.
