Drawings and paintings from the archives of the Rijksmuseum and the New York Public Library served as sources of creative inspiration. The Christian Fischbacher design studio captured the key integral elements of these artworks, composed them anew, and used a digital, photographic collage to narrate a fascinating story on fabric. The intense, colourful pattern repeat is displayed on a background of cream and dark blue. The graphically stylised peacock feather elements evoke the Art Deco era.
